Warren County Library Installs Audio/Visual Drop Off Boxes

February 17, 2010 - The Warren County Library has installed drop boxes for the return of Audio/Visual materials at all four library locations. The new drops make returning A/V materials safer and easier. Before installing these new units, it was necessary to return Video Games and DVD’s to the check-in counter in the library. Returning these items in the regular book drop was hazardous, because they could be damaged by heavy books and the borrower would be liable for the full price of replacement.

Now that the new Audio/Visual drop boxes have been installed, Video Games, DVD’s and Blu-ray discs can be returned after the library has closed for the day. If the item is returned on the day that it is due, even after closing, there will be no late fee assessed.
