| Summer Reading: Started Monday, June 23rd and ends Friday, August 22nd The NE Branch will have 3 reading clubs. Catch the Reading Bug are our early listeners and readers up to 10 years old. Metamorphosis @ Your Library are our tweens and teens ages 11 to 17 years old. Last but not least What's Buzzing @ Your Library are our adults ages 18 years old to infinity. There will be weekly prizes, grand prizes and activities for all. So come sign-up! |

| Manuela Quick - Rock Painting: Tuesday, July 1st - 1:30-3:00 pm (Ages 7 & up) Local artist Manuela Quick will teach children how to paint on rocks. Sign-ups required starting Tuesday, June 24th. For ages 3 to 6 years old. |

| Reading Cafe': Wednesday, July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th - 1:30-2:30 pm (6th grade & up) The teen Reading Cafe's is being run by our youth librarian, Lina Crowell. Please come prepared to talk about your favorite book on the first day. On Wednesday, July 30th we will have Henna Tattoos as part of the cafe' discussion. On the final Wednesday, July 30th we will have a pizza party during the cafe'. Sign-ups required starting one week prior. Space is limited to 15-20 teens. |

| Snakes-n-Scales: Wednesday, July 2nd - 4:30 & 6:30 pm (All ages) Learn about reptiles in a fun and fact-filled presentation. Tickets go on sale June 25th. $1.00 refund at the door. |

| Little Stitchers: Thursday, July 10th, 17th & 24th - 11:30-12:30 pm (Ages 6 & up) This is a children's knitting and crochet group. Marzena Baranowska will teach the children how to do some basic needlework. Sign-ups required starting one week prior. |

Bookworms: Wednesday, July 16th - 12:00 noon (Adults) The Bookworms is an adult reading group here at the Northeast Branch. They will meet and dicuss the book Teacher Man by author Frank McCourt. New members are always welcome. |

Fairy Wings and Monarch Migration: Tuesday, July 29th - 1:30-3:00 pm (Ages 6-12) After "Fairy Wings" is read, the children will create their own Monarch, find out about its migration direction, host plant, development and how to raise their own, as well as create a Monarch journal and mini Monarch book to take home. Sign-ups required starting July 22nd. Space is limited to 16 children. |
