Volunteering at Franklin
Franklin Volunteer Pals (VP’s) The Franklin VP’s are a group of children and teenagers (ages 8-15) that assist at the Warren County Library in Franklin. These VP’s help with various activities and events that occur at the Franklin Branch. An interview and transportation to the library is required by the volunteer. The benefits of being a VP include: gaining community service experience, free library privileges during time of service, feeling good about yourself, and an awards ceremony once a year. As a VP, you are expected to ask questions if you do not understand something, volunteer only at your scheduled work times, be reliable, dependable and prompt, give adequate notice of absence for illness or vacation, always be polite to library patrons and staff and of course… HAVE FUN!!
Franklin Friends Volunteer Group Our reputation as one of the best libraries in the county is nothing without the support of our patrons. To continue our service to the community, the "Franklin" Friends formed a volunteer group to support the paid staff members and you, our patrons. Volunteer opportunities may include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
