Volunteering at Franklin

Happy 90th Birthday to our Volunteer, June Johnson!

Franklin Volunteer Pals (VP’s)

The Franklin VP’s are a group of children and teenagers (ages 8-15) that assist at the Warren County Library in Franklin.  These VP’s help with various activities and events that occur at the Franklin Branch.  An interview and transportation to the library is required  by the volunteer.  The benefits  of being a VP include: gaining community service experience, free library privileges during time of service, feeling good about yourself, and an awards ceremony once a year.  As a VP, you are expected to ask questions if you do not understand something, volunteer only at your scheduled work times, be reliable, dependable and prompt, give adequate notice of absence for illness or vacation, always be polite to library patrons and staff and of course… HAVE FUN!!
