CDH Volunteers

Want a chance to do something for your local library and give back to your community? Come and join the team of volunteers at the CDH branch.

Volunteers are vital to the service our library provides. They assist both the staff and our patrons.

Some volunteer duties may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

• Greeting and assisting patrons to locate items.
• Assisting with circulation functions.
• Organizing and reading shelves.
• Working on outdoor grounds, landscaping and interior plant management.
• Assisting in the maintenance of historical and archival materials.
• Shelving books and other materials.
• Clipping coupons.
• Helping out with events, programs, crafts, etc.
